Position Profile:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Host is the first and last point of contact for anyone interacting with one of our physical spaces. As such, a Host is also among the most impactful representations of our brand. Far more than a receptionist, an M Host is an ambassador for our brand and an experience curator. They are dynamic, positive, detail-oriented, and intuitive members of the M team.

Responsibilities:
The Host provides support and service to our Head Office members reflecting the extraordinary experiences expressed in our core Vision and Values.
Each space is outfitted with a suite of hand-selected amenities. The Host is responsible for maintaining a detailed inventory, stocking supplies, and placing orders for the Cartier Office when stock is running low.
The Host should seek approval from management before placing orders and is responsible for tracking shop-related purchases and expenses ensuring they all fall within the monthly budget.
The Host is responsible for opening, closing, and maintaining their space.
The Host will dedicate a minimum of 7 hours per week to document verification (to be trained in-house)
The Host is responsible for ensuring that the people visiting our spaces are welcomed and treated with attention and kindness for the duration of their stay. At a minimum, this includes: greeting guests, hanging coats, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and introducing and executing our bespoke beverage program.
The Host fields all calls to their respective location and is responsible for screening and directing calls to the appropriate recipients.
Each one of our spaces is equipped with a private meeting room. The Host is responsible for managing the booking of these rooms and monitoring their usage while providing an extraordinary client experience. This includes but isn’t limited to: understanding the needs of the person booking the room, preparing the room in advance (water, notebooks, pens, taking coffee/tea orders in advance etc.) and making sure the room is cleaned and put back to its original state after each meeting.
Our Host should take ownership of their space and continually re-evaluate what can be done to provide an extraordinary experience for visitors.
