M is a luxury home and lifestyle brand that operates within and adjacent to the real estate industry. Our business is primarily derived from the transactional nature of real estate but our vision is rooted in the experiential and conceptual aspects of beautiful spaces.
M is known for its considered aesthetic and genre-defining marketing strategies. As a design focused estate agency, we have at our disposal a suite of stunning spaces, a dedicated graphic design team and creative services department dedicated to ideating the campaigns and strategies that have established M as an award-winning outlier in our industry. As our in-house content creator, your role is to curate imagery, create videos, and initiate social media campaigns that are in line with our vision and brand. Working directly with our social media manager, your work will be evaluated by the results you produce. For that reason, the content creator enjoys creative liberty and on-the-job autonomy. We are looking for a proven content creator who wishes to work in an environment where their skills and competencies are valued and where they are given the opportunity and resources to create impactful and memorable content.
Conceptualizing and storyboarding creative content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Web.
Responsible for staying on-trend with the rapidly changing market and designing relevant campaigns structured around the core pillars of the agency: design, hospitality, architecture, and real estate.
Responsible for coordinating shoots (including locations, models, props, etc.) and producing, editing, and delivering original content for daily release.
As a member of the social media team, the content creator must seek approval from the brand communications manager and deliver their content in accordance with the schedule outlined by the social media manager.
The content creator should review the analytics provided by the social media manager and be willing and capable of modifying their campaigns to reflect them.
The content required at any given time may need to be produced for web or social media. The content creator should be well-versed in creating content optimized for specific media.
Qualifications & Requirements:
While we don’t require the content creator to have had any formal training we ask that all applicants submit an up-to-date portfolio of recent work and demonstrate a proven ability to create content that leads to results. Links to personal or professional social accounts or other relevant media will also be considered in our evaluation process.
We’d especially love to work with someone who has the following qualities:
Has their own production equipment.
Is fluent in English and French (additional languages a plus)
Has at least 3 years experience creating content in a professional context.
Has an advanced knowledge of social media tools and strategies.
Has experience working with cross-platform planning apps (experience with Later a plus)
Can work autonomously and within a collaborative team structure.
Is highly creative, self-motivated and values creative liberty.
Has experience writing captions and possesses a basic understanding of SEO principles.
Is interested in hospitality, architecture, and interior design.
