M is a luxury home and lifestyle brand that operates within and adjacent to the real estate industry. Our business is primarily derived from the transactional nature of real estate but our vision is rooted in the experiential and conceptual aspects of beautiful spaces. 

Position Profile:

A Host is the first and last point of contact for anyone interacting with one of our spaces. As such, a host is also one of the most impactful representations of our brand. Far more than a receptionist, a host of an in one of our spaces is an ambassador of our brand – an experience curator. We are seeking dynamic, detail oriented and intuitive hosts to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• The host fields all calls to their respective shop and is responsible for directing calls to the appropriate recipients.

• The host is responsible for opening, closing, and maintaining the space.

• Each one of our spaces is equipped with a lavishly designed meeting space. The host is responsible for managing the booking of these rooms and monitoring their usage while providing an elevated full-service client experience. 

• Inspired by luxury hospitality and high-end retail spaces our spaces were designed to host our clients in elegant comfort. As a host, you are responsible for ensuring this vision is being carried out on a daily basis. 

• A part of this vision includes the high level of service offered to our guests. When entering a space a guest can expect to be greeted by the host, have their coat hung and be served water, tea or coffee made to order.

• Each space is outfitted with a suite of fine amenities. The host is responsible for keeping track of our amenity inventory, stocking supplies and placing orders when stock is running low.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Personality, a willingness to learn, and an understanding of our brand vision are the qualities we most look for in any team member. We believe in finding the right fit and surrounding ourselves with like-minded individuals who work together in realizing our brand’s vision.

We’d love to work with someone who has the following qualities:

• Has a positive attitude

• Is fluent in English and French

• Has some retail or hospitality experience (preferred)

• Is familiar with G-suite

• Is able to multitask

• Has a willingness to learn

• Is meticulous and detail oriented

• Loves a clean and organized space
